Tips for Registered Users

If you are a registered user, your profile information is stored securely for your use in future visits. Use the "My Account" page to keep your information up to date:

Current Address:

Keep your current address and your contact phone numbers up to date.

E-mail and Password:

If your e-mail address changes, be sure to update it so you will receive your order and shipping confirmations. Also, change your password regularly for increased security.

Payment Methods:

If available, you can securely save new payment methods or update existing ones -- for instance, update your credit card expiration date.

Order Tracking & History:

Check the current status of your orders and view past orders.

My Memberships:

Authenticate yourself as a member of a special group. This may allow you to view and purchase products or services available only to members of that group.

Shipping Addresses:

Edit and manage your saved shipping addresses. For instance, you might save your grandma's address under the nickname "Grandma". Then during checkout, you'll be able to select from your list of shipping addresses. Data fields will automatically be filled in for you.

University MarketPlace Privacy Policy

Marketplace is offered primarily to students, faculty, and staff of the University although some services are offered to the general public.

Use of Cookies

A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a Web server and stored on your computer's hard drive. This cookie only manages session data, and is deleted once your browser is closed. The MarketPlace cookies do not generate personal data and do not read personal data from your machine.

Protecting Information that Marketplace Collects

Protecting the privacy and personal data of our customers is of the utmost importance to the University. The University will never sell or rent your personal information. If you choose to identify yourself by making a purchase on-line, the University will create or collect some or all of the following personal information: unique customer ID, name, e-mail address, phone number, billing information, shipping information, and the store in which you were shopping. Credit card information is not stored by the University, but rather is collected, transmitted, and processed by Touchnet Information Systems, a Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliant 3rd party service provider, using industry standard 128 bit encryption.

Each storefront operator within Marketplace may exercise the option to request additional information to facilitate the completion of your order, to provide discounts, or for other relevant business purposes. Such information is provided voluntarily by you during the checkout process.

Widener University Marketplace does not knowingly collect or maintain any personal information from children under the age of 13 and will not make sales to children under 13. In addition, no part of our site is designed with the purpose of attracting any person under age 13. Because of the limited manner in which we collect and use information, access to the site constitutes agreement to our privacy policy, which may be changed from time to time without notice.
